Biografi
The Fried Lab focuses on understanding how and why CNS neurons respond to artificial stimulation as well as the development of new and more effective ways of stimulation. Current projects include (1) the development and testing of microcoil-based magnetic stimulation of the cortex as well as the cochlea, (2) analysis of LGN neurons and their response to electrical stimulation, and (3) analysis of the anatomical and biophysical factors that shape the spiking response in retinal and other CNS neurons.
