Biografi

Alison is a public health specialist and member of the Migrant Health Research Group at St George’s, University of London, where her PhD research focuses on strengthening vaccine uptake in migrant populations. She is trained in the control of infectious diseases, reducing health inequalities, and social science research methods, with a particular focus on qualitative methodologies and participatory approaches. She specialises in designing and implementing public health interventions and research, and promoting the meaningful involvement and participation of underserved groups in health decision-making. Prior to joining St George’s, she worked for the UK’s public health agency (Public Health England), UN agencies, and international non-governmental organisations, predominantly in Southeast Asia and the UK.
